i can't believe i have yet to mention this, but i am wholy and truly in love with the wonder that is betsey johnson. i am a huge fan of loud pieces, unnecessarily large bags, vintage influences, and her fearless, carefree outlook on life. she is a wonderful role model for people like me who enjoy the fashion industry, but do not like to take everything so seriously. and, with that, she still is a huge success. as mainstream as she is, her pieces are still very unique and make you feel like you're make a statement when wearing them. low funds..her betseyville bags are cheap and pretty damn sweet. this is my favorite piece from her latest collection "beat chick":
