A true story following the last years of Chris McCandless's life while he was submerged in a journey different that anything he had ever known. Packing up and leaving his family, his home, and all of his money after college graduation; he embarked on an excursion that turned to be his last adventure. Not only was I suprised at his will and desire to separate himself from the comfort that we all have, but I was also suprised that he was not the only persont to try this. Krakauer also goes into stories of other men that tried this same adventure, and relates them back to McCandless.
