let's read this!

This is not so much a book review, seeing as how I never even purchased the book. But, I did receive an e-mail about this book called A la Cart: The Secret Lives of Grocery Shoppers. It was just released this past Tuesday an is a really innovative concept. Author, Hillary Carlip, recovers peoples old shopping lists and imagines what these people must be like, solely based on the items on their list. She goes as far as dressing as them , having her make-up, hair, wardrobe -- everything done in order to transorm into this person who she believes was the one-time owner of this lost grocery list.. She then actually shops for these items, and her journey is photographed. All together, there are 26 portraits based off of lost grocery lists. You can purchase this book here:
