well, I failed to report on the opening band for Kaki King simply because I could not remember her name. I am a poor reporter. But alas I have found her.

Sydney Wayser

She was way sweet. Sounded a bit like Regina Spektor, but hey thats fine because I like her too. A calming voice, long blonde hair, sitting at a keyboard accompanied by two men with percussive instruments. Half of those being toys...literally. Like a fisher price xylophone kinda toy. Anyway check her out; theres an mp3 on the daytrotter homepage.
